The CPRP certification is a comprehensive resource for healthcare recruitment professionals seeking to develop and test their knowledge across physician and provider recruitment, onboarding and retention, human resources and relevant legal issues.
Course registration does not include Annual Conference registration. Conference registration must be purchased separately. 2027 course pricing is TBD.
Onboarding and Retention Certificate Course
Monday and Tuesday, March 22–23, 2027

Designed for professionals involved in provider onboarding and retention, this course explores best practices for creating or strengthening a sustainable program, including virtual and in-person tactics, team structure and measurable outcomes.
Course registration does not include Annual Conference registration. Conference registration must be purchased separately. 2027 course pricing is TBD.

Annual Conference Eligibility Criteria
The AAPPR Annual Conference is open to individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Individuals engaged in the recruitment, onboarding and/or retention of physicians and other healthcare providers who are employed by a hospital, hospital organization, clinic, medical group, health maintenance organization, academic medical center or state or federal governmental agency.
- Independent contractors and self-employed recruiters who are contracted directly to recruit for a single healthcare organization that employs physicians.
- Recruiters whose organization directly employs physicians and is contracted to staff other healthcare organizations with specific specialties, such as emergency medicine or hospitalist services.
- Individuals who do not actively recruit but are directly involved in recruitment, onboarding and/or retention, supervise in-house physician recruiters, or participate in physician education through residency or fellowship programs.
Staffing agencies and other vendor companies must purchase an exhibit booth to participate. Employees of these companies are not eligible to register through the attendee registration process.
AAPPR reserves the right to deny registration to individuals who do not meet the eligibility criteria.

Payment Requirements
Registration must be paid in full by March 15, 2027, and before attending the conference.
Additional payment instructions will be provided when registration opens on December 1, 2026.
