Thank You for Your Interest in Speaking at AAPPR 2027
The Call for Speakers for the Advancing Connections 2027 AAPPR Annual Conference is now closed.
Thank you to everyone who submitted a session proposal and shared their experience, ideas and expertise with AAPPR. Proposals are now being reviewed as we begin building the 2027 conference education program.
As an exclusive benefit of AAPPR membership, members who are selected to present a session will receive a complimentary full conference registration. A maximum of two complimentary registrations will be awarded per session.
The proposal deadline was September 18, 2026.
Speakers will be notified whether their proposals have been accepted or declined by October 30, 2026.
Separate Keynote Submission Process
Interested in Being Considered as a Keynote Speaker?
AAPPR accepts keynote speaker proposals for its Annual Conference and Regional Conferences. Interested speakers are encouraged to submit a proposal using the keynote proposal form.
Keynote proposals are reviewed separately from educational breakout session proposals and are evaluated throughout the year based on the needs and programming goals of upcoming AAPPR events.
Please note: Due to the volume of submissions, we kindly ask that you do not contact AAPPR staff to follow up on your proposal. AAPPR will reach out directly to speakers whose proposals align with our event programming needs.
What We Look For
Creating Strong Educational Proposals
AAPPR's primary educational goal is to address the most pressing current and emerging trends, issues and solutions affecting physician and provider recruitment professionals.
Strong proposals help attendees apply what they learn, improve their work and return to their organizations with useful strategies, ideas and perspectives.
Focus on current or emerging challenges, opportunities and solutions affecting the profession.
Give attendees ideas, tools or strategies they can use beyond the conference session itself.
Keep the needs and experience of physician and provider recruitment professionals at the center of the session.
Educational Alignment
AAPPR Competency Model
AAPPR educational topics are aligned with the AAPPR Competency Model, which outlines the behavioral competencies and knowledge areas needed for effective performance within physician and provider recruitment.
The model can also serve as a helpful resource for anyone considering future speaking opportunities with AAPPR.
