Marissa is a proven talent acquisition leader with more than 10 years of experience in clinical recruitment, workforce planning, and team development across the healthcare industry. Her background spans both agency and in-house environments, from high-volume physician staffing to strategic talent leadership in value-based care startups. She brings deep expertise in recruiting physicians, APPs, nurses, mental health professionals, pharmacists, and allied health roles, along with a strong track record of building and leading recruitment teams.

Marissa currently serves as Director of Clinical Talent at Imagine Pediatrics, a pediatric startup delivering complex care to Medicaid populations in Texas, Florida, and Washington, DC. She leads all clinical hiring, including physician and clinician-led leadership recruitment, and has played a key role in growing the organization from 20 to over 400 employees. Her scope includes strategic hiring operations, multi-state workforce planning, internal mobility, compensation program design, and recruitment process optimization.

Earlier in her career, Marissa spent years in healthcare staffing (locum tenens), where she developed expertise in high-volume search, cold outreach, and candidate pipeline development. Across all roles, she has been recognized for her ability to build trusted partnerships with executive teams, design scalable and effective hiring strategies, and deliver results in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

She is especially passionate about evidence-based practices in recruitment and workforce development, with a focus on outpatient and behavioral health.
